For the implementation of the project, seminars and workshops for women’s legal rights, city participation, the use of the internet, art & craft and others will take place. Women will be encouraged to gain social resilience and raise their self-esteem. Through the work on women’s issues in each partner country, the collection of training material for various activities and the exchange of all the studies and products between the partner countries, we will create a fruitful cooperative partnership that is expected to contribute to the promotion of gender issues.
The concrete objectives of the Learning Partnership are:
- Promotion of gender equality in education;
- Encouragement of women to gain social resilience, self-esteem, to adopt an active role in every field of city life;
- Encouragement of national governments to collaborate with women’s studies programmes to facilitate training in equal opportunities;
- Presentation and promotion of women’s life style in various European countries with different culture and traditions.
- Helping women to learn how to communicate and express themselves using technology, internet, etc and training in the necessary computer skills, so they could be more competitive in the work market
- Training women on how they could start their own small business using their talents or knowledge
- Offer to the beneficiaries the possibility to meet other learners, educational organizations, from other European countries and to improve their cultural knowledge
- Creation of the possibility to compare the situation in partner countries concerning the laws which protect women
- Dissemination of the experience gained within the partnership to similar institutions through the use of ICT.
Each participating country will work on woman situation first with the project group, mentors and the experts. Then, partner institutions will collect data studying with woman groups and searching info about problems of women as mothers, wives, and daughters in the family. The exchange of the prepared data among the participating institutions will provide a clear view to the learners of “Women in Anatolia and Regions of the Europe”. Thus, women will become conscious about their rights and the EU laws that apply and will be encouraged to gain social resilience.
