Summary

The project «The Natural Environment and Humans» aims to increase the awareness of young people on issues related to environmental conservation, and also proposes specific actions for the promotion of environmental conservation in the countries of the participants.
The project will take place on Ikaria Island in Greece in April 2007, with the participation of 30 young people of 20-25 years old, from 6 different countries.
The daily schedule of the project’s activities includes visits in marine and terrestrial areas of special environmental interest, as well as intercultural activities between the participants and also the participants and the young people of the island.
